The final workshop of WDS project in Barcelona

The WDS “Wooldryscouring” (Dry cleaning wool) project held its final workshop on 4 February in Barcelona. The partners of this project, including Recuperación de materiales textiles S.A. presented the results of the innovative and sustainable wool washing dry process. At about 40 people participated from Belgium, France, Germany, Italy, UK and Spain, representing the industry of wool processing in Europe. At the workshop were highlighted important persons of the sector, as the coordinators of the project life GreenWoolf CNR-ISMAC, Value4Wool Eco-Innovation of IFN-Group, and Atelier-Laines d’Europe. There was an interesting panel of discussion about the present and the future of washing wool in Europe. In the afternoon, attendees visited the WDS prototype in Recuperación de materiales textiles S.A. facilities.We want to thank the Life program, WDS project partners and all stakeholders for their support and cooperation, which has contributed to the WDS project has been a success.
