What’s Greenshield®?

Greenshield® is a treatment with organic essential oils that prevents the growth of moths and mites. Greenshield® protects textile fibres with a repellent and insecticidal effect.

Especially used on wool fibres for the filling of pillows and mattresses, it can be used on other fibres and for other sectors. Its use is respectful of people and the environment.

After washing, it loses its effectiveness and it is recommended to reinforce the treatment.

Why Greenshield®?

Based on essential oils, it is a product that is not harmful to humans or the environment and is an environmentally friendly alternative to synthetic insecticides. The treatment is especially useful for people allergic to dust mites, as they die in contact with the treatment and therefore cannot grow. Clothes moths often eat wool garments as they eat queratin, the protein in wool and hair; thanks to Greenshield® they are protected against these attacks.
